Mrs. Adewale Yesirat Adefunke is the Head of Finance & Accounts in the Ministry of Housing. She is a Certified National Accountant of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
She was born on the 1st of January 1969, Mrs. Adewale Yesirat Adefunke attended Local Government Primary School, Orile – Oshodi in Lagos State before proceeding to Bolade Grammar School, Oshodi and Isolo Comprehensive High School, Isolo in Lagos State for her secondary education where she obtained her West African School Certificate in 1988. She continued her education by proceeding to Federal Polytechnic, Offa in Kwara State and Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo where she earned National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Accountancy between 1994 and 1999 respectively.
She joined the Public Service in 1999 as Higher Executive Office (Account) on Grade Level 08 and since then she has served in various MDAs in different capacities. She worked at Lagos State Teaching Services Commission and Ministry of Tourism and Inter-governmental Relation as Higher Executive Officer (Account) 1999 – 2000 and 2000 – 2001 in Lagos State Urban Renewal Authority as Senior Executive Officer (Account) 2002 -2013; and in Education District II 2013 – 2015 as Principal Accountant Officer. She was posted as Assistant Chief Accountant to Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in 2015 later deployed to head the office of Finance and Accounts department in Ministry of Housing as Assistant Director of Finance and Accounts.
She has attended and presented seminar papers at various institutions, workshops and seminars in the course of her duty.
She is happily married with children
