REDEPLOYMENT: OLOWOSHAGO TAKES OVER AS PERMANENT SECRETARY IN HOUSING MINISTRY

The Permanent Secretary recently deployed to the Ministry of Housing, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, has tasked staff to rededicate themselves to duty and support the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to fully actualise the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda.

He spoke during his maiden meeting with the management team, advising them to always remember the Ministry’s mission statement which is: “To Ensure the Provision of Adequate and Good Quality Housing in Lagos Mega City and Facilitate Easy Access of Its Citizens to Home Ownership”.

Imploring staff to make sacrifices by putting in their best always in actualising his vision for the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary reaffirmed his readiness to implement and drive initiatives that will promote the realisation of the Greater Lagos Vision.

Olowoshago urged the workforce to embrace the virtues of hard work, honesty and selflessness in discharging their duties. 

Earlier in her remarks, the Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Adeola Salako, pledged that the staff will give the Permanent Secretary the support for a successful tenure in office.

Olowoshago, who was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation before his deployment, is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (CIPAN); a member of the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management (NIM), among others.
